Smokey Mountains - PhotoCamel

This is one of the first times I've posted photos here. Been a member for some years but just never posted photos before.

We drove through the mountains today. Well Saturday and today. Saturday was wet so the Canon stayed home. Today was nice and we took the camera with us. Gear was a Canon 20D and a Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens.

Nothing special and not a lot of processing done. Just mostly resizing.cropping for the web.

and one for train buffs (out of Townsend, TN)

very nice colors, i live i guess what would be called the foothills of the smokeys in western north carolina, i try to go up to the park a few times during the fall, it was very beautiful up there this year.
