Default Grand Canyon

On our way back from the Nevada desert we had a chance to stop by the grand Canyon for a few hours. Here are a few from that day.

One can never take a bad shot at the Grand Canyon. Number two was my favorite.

I'm going with the crowd. #2 is my favourite. We've all seen images similar to the others you took, as bircher said...you can't take a bad image at the grand canyon. Number 2 though is different from what we would normally see. It makes an impressive place look a little less ominous yet loses none of the dramatic feel. I really like it.

I can relate to your comment here. I had a friend who went to Yosemite National Park and I said the exact same thing you said. Such beauty every place you turn. The Grand Canyon is much the same but, the biggist challenge I had was capturing by camera what the eye actually sees. The Canyon is a very very "3D" place much more then most landscaps and the camera just can't do it Justus. It truly is a place that has to be seen in person to get the real effect.
