Did you try one of this in a slightly lower light level? Some of the whites seem a tad too bright especially wall of the house on the right side.
Very good image otherwise considering the light level. |

If possible, this image may be better around first light in the morning or last light of evening - if possible - to help keep away from washed out whites. HIGH NOON - is not the best light for images - if the sun shows.

I know I just stop when I am working and take a few and hope for the best. I go back if I really like the shot and keep trying. Mose of these are taken about a half hour from where I live.
Thanks again for the comments Frank |

The top of the current two images has a strong feel to it. Well Done! I like softer light and long tonal range images for the detail and texture in them.
I am curious if you brightened the bottom one a tad more than needed - based on the top image. I like the reflections in the water in the top one that are missing in the bottom image. Also, the yellow boat hull on the left stands out super in the top one but is really hard to see in the bottom one. Any ideas? Not being there, to see it myself, it is difficult for me to say much. Myself, I would use the top image as a good default starting point for working with images - more with the cam than on the P C - if at all possible. |

The bottom is closer to the original. The top one I did a little more to enhance the colors.
Thanks Frank __________________
