I was really struck by 11 - The way the burkha (sp) is yielding to brightly colored scarves and sunglasses.....

Did you use some HDR techniques to get the details out or unsharp masking only parts of the picture ?

The hills and oak trees, classic California shots. The urban ones are also very well done. Nice series.

Some are enhanced in photoshop indeed, but not HDR.
I use a digital back and that has a great dynamic range it gives the shots often just that bit extra.

Thanks for the reply, I see, something I will ever dream of But I think it is the little magic in photshop which gives the little bit extra, some images have more a painted look, difficult to describe, something like tonemapping or different ways of unsharp masking with big radius or high pass filtering ?
