Great stuff, epp! I love the first and second. I like the third as well. It's hard to pull off a solo tree shot with pleasing results but you've done a good job here. That blue sky with the puffer clouds makes the 4th shot, IMO. Well done on all but those are my faves.

I like 2 and 4 best. Interesting colors and lines, etc.

Not to hijack your thread, but I'm curious what people think about #5. My instinct is that it would be better with the top cropped a bit to reduce space devoted to the reeds in background with shallow dof. I like the colors and the reflections, and I suppose we need to know what is being reflected, but I'm curious to know whether epphoto has things he would do or whether others have suggestions for that one.

1st i don't think #5 is a super picture I just like it because of the textures, reflections and warm colors
I like were you can see the snow and the same time you can pick-up the water, corn, and reflections ,This was shot with Canon 500mm and 1.4 x about at list 300' way
Thanks for your comment

Ep,

I watched your posts in the HDR forum and while the more extreme processing isn't my thing, I have admired your skill and the consistency in quality that you produce.

These on the other hand are images I can really appreciate.

The feeling in all of these is very relaxing and the compositions are so simple, but they contain all the elements necessary to put their message across.

Karma well deserved.

Regards,

Peter

This is a quality set of images. I find myself drawn to #3 and the last, probably because I am going through a black and white phase lol. Beautiful work.
