"Ready to Fly"

Hi all,

Here's a picture I just shot today of a landmark in my hometown. There was a brief pause in the dusting of snow that has been coming for hours, so I took advantage (though it's still coming down in the distance!)

I used the google program "Picasa" to adjust for white balance, C&C encouraged and welcome.

Feel free to edit the photo for examples, too! Permission granted

Very unique perspective. I like it, but it's a shame the snow covered wings blend in with the sky. I'm impressed with Picasa's white balance.

E.H.--I agree, it would have been great if there was some nice blue sky instead of the overcast--Oh well, one of the few things we can't control is the weather so I guess we'll make due

Overcast or not, the snow definitely adds to the feeling.

Yeah maybe in the photograph--"adds" isn't what I'd call the feeling when I was taking it -30 Celcius!
