Default A Huge Mural

I took this about 2 weeks ago down in Newburgh, NY. This mural is about 200 feet long and 15 feet tall or so. Very impressive to say the least! I stitched this together out of 10 frames. Took me a long time to get it right, but I'm pretty happy with the result.

Hopefully this is big enough to view

Best,
Jay

I think this might be 2 small to appreciate, so here is larger crop of the left arch. The painted woman is life size and the curbing on the bottom is a real stone curb

Jay

I'm so glad you included the section, Jay, it shows how impressive the whole thing must be. Do you have a link to a bigger version?

Unfortunately tis a little on the small side which is a shame.....Are we allowed to link to a larger off site version? would be a good idea maybe as i'd really like to see it a little bigger.
Also did you shoot in landscape or portrait for the pano?
like the larger crop though.
Cool shot/s.
Ken.

Thanks for the comments Sorry for the small viewing, but it won't let me go bigger than 1600px. If I host it elsewhere I'm afraid people might take it. Any suggestions on how to safely post a large version?

Best,
Jay

I wouldn't risk that either.... but still interested in seeing each Arch lol... the larger crop version like your second post here The Mural just looks so interesting?? what is the concept of it ?? From what little I see , I get the idea it just shows different eras of progress/ civilization Like Windows or Arches of Time, for the passerby to view ?? It just looks so interesting...

I can post crops Tom thats a good idea! I was thinking 1 huge version though

Basically the Mural is different areas of Newburgh at a variety of times. The first arch being really old, the rest are more modern versions. This mural borders the Hudson river water front property, and is a huge hot spot these days for Weekend clubs, bars, Restaurants ect..

Here is the crops

Best,
Jay

I like it. Took me a long time to realise that the woman with pushchair in the first extract was also in the painting. I thought you'd caught an excellent pose!

One small niggle, the Dutch Reformed Church arch: is that a bad matchline or is that some sort of expansion joint in the wall? It really grabs my eye away from the arch.

gpf,. Thanks for the comments Thats an expansion joint in the wall that was painted in and actually looks like that for real. All those rocks and joints are part of the mural. There is 1 spot in another image where I can notice a little bit where CS3 struggled, but it's barley noticeable IMO

Best,
Jay
