Hi Gord !! Good to see you in Landscape!! Well ya know I luv the subject here, Country, and a old fashion Appeal... You really pulled this baby in huh... I like that , and the fact that the pull showed what only needs to be seen here, Tractor, round bale, and 1 tree... shot enters in focal blur and exits the same , that cool... The blur is more evident, or even say sharper in the exit.. I just like the feel of this shot and how you allowed the blur effect to highlight the distant subject.. very creative look..

I haven't been shooting much landscape this summer at all. Been busy with weddings and a few orders in the woodshop. As far as this shot is concerned, the area where the tractor was situated already seemed isolated, and this was my attempt to accentuate that feeling. Thanks again and hopefully I'll have a few more from vacation shortly. |

The use of DOF to isolate in this type of shot is certainly not to all tastes, but, it just felt right to me. Thanks again. |

Really nice DOF work Gord!! I was surprised to see it was as high as f/8, but then the 450mm part cleared it up
