Hi Mike!!
ok now, this is just me talking, and my opinion... others available lol... First, Great Exposure! Beautiful Sky! nice detail and silhouetted trees!! Now what I can't figure is the composition?? you captured the mood of the lighting so well, but for me the frame, ( Camera Crop) just seems to erase the mood?? I want to see the whole tree with some earth below, and even some beautiful sky and reflected water?? I really think you nailed all the techs on this shot , but for me the composition just doesn't work?? Maybe I just feel cheated , but I just keep wanting more when I look?? It just feels like to sudden of a crop on bottom of frame... Again , I'm not knocking this shot, How could ya, as said , all the Techs are Right there.. but ( my opinion) the composition hurts in this one.. but this is also your interpretation, your choice, your feeling... |

Thanks for the positive comments
 The composition is the result of a carefully cropping the original - which was "snapped" from a balcony. There never was any earth beneath the tree... well, there was but I couldn't see it from my position  |

Oh, wow. NEM's right, but you don't have to have any actual ground when you got that great horizon/shack. Crop it just like #1, but extend it down the rest of the way and you got it.

Ah, ok, you're right. I thought the black blob was a shack or building of some kind, couldn't tell it was another tree. Yep, it would look funny. Rats.
