Hi everyone, my apologies for being silent for so long. Sadly work has taken a major priority in the last few months but here are a few relatively recent shots I have had the pleasure of taking!
Comments as always are appreciated! "Perelle Bay - Guernsey, Channel Islands" ![]() ![]() Regards Dan __________________

Welcome back Dan, work really gets in the way of fun doesn't it. I love the relaxing nature of these, the soft colors are rich and soothing. I'm struck by the light cast on the water in the 2nd and how it leads into infinity. Well done!

I like the first. It makes me wonder why the boat is way out there, anchored. A long swim to shore. Maybe it is a tide in/out thing.
The 2nd has a nice foreground background thing happening. Well done. |

Hi Dan! I think both shots are great here ... my preference is for the first.. water and sky both beautiful in this.. its just a nice feel , not an overkill sky, but a mood , if you know what I.m saying,, I also like the boat in this one , and think the near silhouette of it adds to the all around comfortable mood of this shot.. I think its Outstanding in every way!

Dan,
Haven't seen your posts for around a month, I know how you feel, just getting back in there myself, but we gotta pay the bills. Great shots here, as always. Not picking a favourite. I like the almost silhouette look of the boat in the first shot, with the space around it, beautiful serene look. The composition of the second one is great, colours spot on. The seaweed just catches your eye, and follows it up to the main subject, with it's beautiful colours. Welcome back, great job. Rick. |

I think he post it not for us to compare but to show the same boat at different tidal periods. I think they are well done! Maybe more complete if show more!

Hi Dan, I think they are both terrific. I like the composition of the boat in the second pic and I love the colour of the sky in the first. I'm not going to suggest taking the best of both because both pictures are outstanding in their own right (IMO). Thank you for sharing.
