Larry, I like this post card look here... so much that I took it into Adobe to work on, ( which you can't on the road lol ) buttt It got even better for me .. I then noticed the cabin on the left ( my monitor dark ) anyway this shot has some real potential when you can get home and work on it.. like the piece of brush in lower right corner,, but just cropping that out , really seemed to pull this shot tight and together for me.. Think you got a good one here to play with!!!

This is another example of beautiful colours from your recent series of posts. I really like the layers in the background,,,,and you've got the water looking real nice again.
Do you want to share your settings? No probs if not. It's just you've got the water looking not too sharp and not too soft....just right to suit the pic. Bit of movement on the branches in the foreground, (maybe wind?) makes it a bit blurred, but mabe a tiny crop and then Mr Clone to sort that out. Nicely done, thanks again. |

Another very nice image LJH! I'm trying to catch up here... are you currently out on vacation shooting and submitting images? If so, that's awesome!
I do agree with Tom about cropping out that bottom right foliage. Otherwise it's very picturesque and tranquil feeling! Thanks for sharing! |

Yep, this one would be great to play with. Crop it a bit like Tom said. 1/500 with that lens should be plenty sharp enough, you shouldn't need a tripod to reduce any camera shake.

Just messed with it some. Tried to lighten the shadows, took a bit of green out of the sky, straightened, and sharpened. Darn small pic to work with but hopefully will give you some ideas.

I like this very much, Goofup's PP works great for me too.

Thanks, Judy but I have to give Goofup some of the credit since he improved it - I am always amazed at what a little "tweaking" can do. I just hope I can learn how to do it right myself - lol!!
