Default " A Run Of The Mill Shot "

These were taken this spring just outside the Village of Guildhall Vermont..

The Water Wheel, Lot of new tender growth around the area, so point of views limited...

Photo #1..
  • Focal length: 8.9mm (35mm equivalent: 35mm)
  • Exposure time: 0.0081 s (1/124)
  • Aperture: f/4.5
  • ISO equiv.: 50

Photo #2

A little different look. maybe cheated somewhat on the wheel itself, but wanted also to place the distant covered bridge in the shot... Took many shots on this shoot so little bit of everything on this water wheel... just something about this shot I liked

Both of these are great I see what you were going for in #2 and it works well, but I think #1 is still my pic

Very nice colors and processing work as well. The have almost a slight painted look to them.

Thanks for sharing.

Worm... Thanks for the view, and appreciate your comments... This was really a pristine place, not your normal photo nightmare, you know , wires/ poles/ cars / etc...
so it all went fairly well... just as I said though , lot of new foliage growth, so couldn't move around as much as I would have liked... Thanks again!

I like these Tom, all the colours (reds, browns, greens) all come together beautifully, neither one dominating the overall scene.

I'm paricularly fond of the first one.

Good compositions and viewpoints (given the foliage).

Overall, a very nice job.

You worked on these a bit didn't you? #1 looks better than the last time I saw it.

Tom,
I really like your mill photos. The fence lead in is nice in the second, but I really like the first best of the two. I took a peak at your website and liked what I saw. Welcome to the Camel and I will look forward to more.
Cheers,
Colby

Hey, let me get my 2 cents in here!!

Tom,

I love both shots. Is that an opening to a covered bridge in #2? Interesting colors on hte sluce and water wheel.

Thanks for posting these and am looking forward to more.

Dakota
