Default Another Cruise to Alaska.....

Next Saturday (May 12th) we leave on a 12 day cruise to Alaska,
via the Inside Passage.

This one is a little different than the one we took last year (11 months ago)...
this time we leave from San Francisco and return to Vancouver.....
then we're driving back home, no more flying for us "until further notice".....

It's the same ship too, the Seven Seas Mariner. All the cabins are
suites, and this time we opted for one with butler service
(they even unpack and re-pack our suitcases).
The food is all "gourmet", and one of the restaurants is run by the famous
Le Cordon Bleu of Paris.

Last year I took 3,700 photos! I have no intention of repeating that!
I'm hoping to take no more than 3,699.

Ken,
Wave when you go past Quadra Island on your way home. I will be there for two weeks starting about the time you are returning. My oldest son and I are going up to open the house and get the boat in the water for the season. There is a lovely lighthouse near the south end of the island, which makes for a great photo op. Campbell River on Vancouver Island is just across the channel and is the nearest sizable town. Looks like you had a great time last year, really nice group of shots. Will look forward to this years edition. Will attach a photo of the Cape Mudge Lighthouse so you will be able to identify it if you get a chance to see it.
Cheers,
Colby
