I think the composition is excellent, but the colors...well...are very bad. Sorry.

I get the idea, but as the honourable poster before me has mentioned, the colours are....well, as he said. Bit of lens flare showing in the foreground, and the sun slap bang in the middle just throws the picture off. Maybe a tighter crop on the couple or the chair-thingy may help....

Hope you don't mind, but I feel this is a better composition.... I could see this a a poster on my wall

Lee's composition is excellent, really like it. But the colors are, well, kind of weird if you ask me.

Alway, always, UCCMA!! This is basically as shot. The only thing done in post was to burn the water in a little for contrast and a slight crop. It was shot with a Minolta dimage 7 - 5 yrs ago. lol - just ran across it.

reddeathdrinker - I really prefer your crop but something about the empty Lifeguard chair seemed to make the couple seem more alone. Looked through your gallery, nice work. We're having an air show here next weekend.
