Default The Bends

Thought I would post a shot up of the carnage left behind after a bad-assed wind storm.

The next day another local photographer, foreverautumn01 here on the Camel, told me of the damages that she and her husband saw so I just had to get out there and see for myself.

There were a lot of trees down, but the semi-permanent bend placed onto this stand of red pines, I think, summed the power up pretty well.

A few moments after taking this, a Chippewa National Forest park ranger was encouraging me to leave, affirming that the trees in the area were still crashing down without notice, so I left pretty shortly afterwards.

Lesson to be learned: One of the benefits of this forum is the local associates you encounter and the leads and tips that can pass from one another.

Thanks for the lead foreverautumn01. I hope to return the favor soon.
