Can't really add any technical that has not already been covered, however wanted to say number 1 is a beauty. Nicely done.

#1 is beautiful...agree with removing the stick in the top left corner and the small branches on the left side. I noticed you have editing OK, so I did a quick crop on the bottom one to crop out some of the overpowering tree, going with more of a pano crop...and putting the boat in the bottom right 1/3...just to give you a different option if you really like the image (which I, as a "fisherwoman", absolutely love)!

Thanks Jana, when bambersImages suggested that "the large tree stump is a bit too dominant to have as a silhouette" I thought about changing the exposure on the tree, not the composition.
Thanks for the idea, it looks good.
It was the end of a great day of walleye fishing, but I set the rod down and took some pictures that I really like.
Thanks again.

I actually did it with the patch tool rather than the cloning tool as sometimes it will blend better...just a quick edit which isn't awfully tidy.

You're welcome Steve! Thanks for sharing your beautiful sunsets...we didn't get out in the boat nearly enough this fall, so I really enjoyed losing myself in these for a few minutes!

Thanks BambersImages it looks good. Now that you pointed out, its the first thing I see when I look at it.
I will have to remove it, however I have Elements 9 which does not have the patch tool, but I understand the spot healing brush has the same effect and I have used that.
Thanks again.
