The top-right corner's a little too hot for me, but as this was my first effort working with a Hoya R72, I was pretty happy.

Is that just a normal picture taken with a filter on front of the lens ?

I used a Hoya R72 filter. First I went Manual and set my Canon to shutter priority. Then I focused the image without the filter, then added the filter. The exposure was approximately three and a half seconds. Once back home, I removed color in Photoshop and messed with saturation levels/hues.

So does the R72 filter cut out all light except infra-red then ?
