I'll take my 100 degree days over cold anytime. I have dealt with the cold in many parts of the world and I prefer the heat.

Me, too. I'm going to join the rest of the old fogies in Florida any year now.

Plus, bird photography has to be great there!

Love the Alps! I was working few years ago in Munich and visited the Alps quite often.

Ok, I've been told to comment even if I feel the photographer is better than I am...so you are going to have to deal with me commenting.

I love that it is almost a gradient version of scenery, but I wish the snow was a little whiter and the midtones a little darker.* Not much, just to make the gradient blend a little more so that it isn't BLACK in one corner and then suddenly a fairly light medium grey leading up to the not quite white snow.* I think the lines in the scene are great, the composition is wonderful, I just want a bit more flow as far as the colours I guess.* I don't know how you would do that without making the sky lose some of its own nice reverse gradient feel to it, but I'm trying to speak up even if I feel I have no call to.* I'm not saying it is a bad picture, I love it, very peaceful feeling in spite of the dramatic aspect of the mountains.* It would be less peaceful and more just plain dramatic most likely if you managed to get it the way I would like to see it, so maybe that is a bad thing.*

Sara hiding a little here.* *

Thanks. This is not a great shot, I know. I have trouble making landscapes that work.
