Love the Alps! I was working few years ago in Munich and visited the Alps quite often.

Ok, I've been told to comment even if I feel the photographer is better than I am...so you are going to have to deal with me commenting.
I love that it is almost a gradient version of scenery, but I wish the snow was a little whiter and the midtones a little darker.* Not much, just to make the gradient blend a little more so that it isn't BLACK in one corner and then suddenly a fairly light medium grey leading up to the not quite white snow.* I think the lines in the scene are great, the composition is wonderful, I just want a bit more flow as far as the colours I guess.* I don't know how you would do that without making the sky lose some of its own nice reverse gradient feel to it, but I'm trying to speak up even if I feel I have no call to.* I'm not saying it is a bad picture, I love it, very peaceful feeling in spite of the dramatic aspect of the mountains.* It would be less peaceful and more just plain dramatic most likely if you managed to get it the way I would like to see it, so maybe that is a bad thing.* Sara hiding a little here.* * ![]() |
