He is cute as a bug!! And I'm not related!! LOL!
If the colors are still off, I did shoot with a custom WB, so I know I got it right in camera. But I discovered something that took the wind out of my sails, and maybe someone has some thoughts on this. I use Photoshop Elements 7. When I first get the images in the organizer, they look fine. but when I open the file up in the editor, If I have the editor and the organizer windows side by side, there is a noticeable color shift to the red!! That is quite frustrating...that is where I start fighting my losing battle with color...any suggestions? __________________

Nice job with these.
I thought that was a wig at first! #2 is great! would be even better with a little more light(even PS) in the eyes/face, but it's still great in my mind. |

What a cutie. What hair! My goodness it does look like a wig or toupee or something else!
![]() The first and last are my favorites, and the other two show a lot of character. I'm not at all familiar with Element to offer any suggestion, but I'm curious as to why it's impacting your images to different degrees - like in 2&3. Obviously there are some variables at play here. |

Well, you guys aren't any help at all with my color dilema....*wink*
But I like the sweet words...his momma is white and his daddy is black...we are all surprised that his black hair is not curly at all...his older sister's hair is light brown, and it has all the curls...;o) they are both adorable... |

I'm willing to bet on a couple of things. First is the default color space you are shooting in. Probably sRGB unless you set the camera to RGB. Element if it's anything like its big brother, wants to be in Adobe RGB as it's default space but most LCD screens can only show sRGB. When I was editing in ProRGB and tried to export out to JPEGs in sRGB, it never came out right, always too magenta. I work in RGB from RAW to the final export which is sRGB for JPGs.
Check your color space.. also, are you using a calibrated monitor? PS - really nice pictures ![]() |

Loving the hair. Yes there is a red shift in the second plus blotchy skin...
