Hockey equipment keeps you safe?
My son fell off my hockey pads which are supposed to keep you safe and whacked his head on the entertainment center resulting in some stitches in his forehead. I though it would be and opportune time to document the event with a hockey themed portrait.

Hi Northlander,
Welcome to the Kids Board.  Ouch...  Sorry to hear about his accident. Stitches are no fun at all. I sure hope he got an icecream sundae treat for braving the stitches and the doctor visit... Great shot.  I like the balance of light and shadow here, and the black and white processing was definitely the way to go... Thanks for sharing.. P.S. I like the image, he now looks and has the makings of a great hockey player. you have to save this one for his graduating video,sorry just thinking ahead. something I rarely did myself.

Doh! That's gonna leave a mark. Seriously, great theme idea and glad he's got bragging rights now. I think your exposure and lighting are just dandy here. Could not ask for a better choice on conversion and the processing is quite well done. I guess when he looses his front primary teeth you'll do this theme again with a huge smile.
