New - PhotoCamel

New to the forum, just saying hi. Not new to photography but not very accomplished either. Still have lots to learn. Not very good at people or action photography, ok at landscapes. Know little to nothing about lighting but want to learn. Have a 50+ hour per week job so don't get a lot of time for photography but do what I can.
Equipment:
Canon Rebel Xti
Canon 70-200 2.8L
Canon 24-70 2.8L
Kit lens
Canon 580 EXII Speedlite
Miscellaneous filters
Cheap tripod
Giottos monopod

I spent my money on the lenses, will upgrade camera when the time is right, probably the 5D Mark II if I can swing the funds. Looking also at additional flashes and learning to do some of the Strobist stuff. Main hobbies are motorcycles and travel, and I put the two together as much as possible. Photography is a natural fit with those hobbies so it works out well. Just need lots more time and practice.
