Hi everyone,
My name is Bill, I live in southern Indiana. Ran across a link to this site while searching Google for a "film camera site" lol!! I started getting into photography at the age of sixteen. My first camera was an Honeywell, Pentax Spotmatic-F with an Asahi Pentax 50mm f/1.4 lens that I got by trading with a friend. (would like to find a mint example) I'm a Nikonian and I love my Nikon. I'm currently using an new to me F4s. I have had a few other newer Nikon film cameras but ended up selling awhile back because I had lost interest in photography. Lately though, I seem to be having a renewed interest and plan on making the most of it by getting out and doing more shooting than I have in the past. I would consider myself an advanced amateur. The only experiance that I have with doing photography for profit, is a short stint taking pictures for photo-scopes while living on a beach in Florida and photographing childrens sports teams, which was enjoyable for awhile but got to be real monotonous.......might have been the reason for my loss of interest......lol. I really enjoy nature photography and want to start getting into B&W too. I'm even thinking about delving into processing my own slides and negs. Well, that's pretty much all I have to say for the time being. I hope I am able to contribute something to this great looking forum and I'm sure that I will learn alot here too. Thanks for reading and Happy Shooting..........cameraniac __________________

having grown up with film, I could never figure out how photography "works", so let's just say I might venture back to film, now that I can actually expose - but thank heavens for the quicker learning curve of digital
And of course most of my lenses date back from film, so they work on my "inherited" pentax SFxn...__________________
