Default A South African in Moscow
Hello all!

I have gone from one extreme to the other - from the heat of South Africa to the cold of Russian winter! Been here 5 years now, actually I find the cold is not as severe as one would think.

As for photography equipment and experience, I had none whatsoever until about 2 weeks ago - I finally took the plunge and bought a Canon EOS 40D, Canon 17-85 IS USM & Canon Speedlite 580EX-II. Since then I have discovered somewhat the huge learning curve I have ahead of me! So far I've taken only about 250 pics, but I'm really enjoying it!
