Default Greetings from Blackpool England

Hi everyone, I found this site through Dpreview, I'm amazed at the number of members considering the age of this site.
Most of my work is done at our holiday location in Scotland. I have a small website http://ardnamurchan.atspace.com that has a selection my images.
My current camera is an Olympus C-2100uz, other stuff i've used, starting with the oldest are, Prakticaxxx, Pentax me super and Nikon d-70 (F-70 in the USA)
I'm hoping to get an Olympus E-300 in the very near future, just can't decide if I should keep the uzi or sell it to help fund the E-300.

Cheers

Graham.

I love my e-300 (just a blast to shoot with) but I still find uses for my c-740uz as well (there are times when a point&shoot is all you need and it's nice to have something compact and sometimes composing on the LCD is handy).

Hi Graham,

That's my middle name (Graham); my Mom's maiden name was Graham.

I shot for ages with an Oly E10 and I 'grew up' on it and loved it. I left Oly when it could no longer quite do what I needed and I graduated to a used Canon 1D. I have since retired the 1D for a 20D and now am waiting to see if Canon comes out with something newer and better....we know they WILL, it's just a matter of time!

Anyway, I'm an Oly lover from way back and glad to see other Oly people here! Hope to get to know you better,
Beth

My advice is to keep the C2100UZ here's a pic I took with mine. It will be hard for anyone to duplicate.

jpeg artifacts are from pbase compression. original available on my site.

Thanks for the welcome everybody.
Magnum, I take it you have been to Blackpool then, what did you think of the place?
I live on the outskirts in the rural area, I very rarely venture into town, it's too full of visitors
