Ciao from Roma, Italy
Dear friends,
I live in Rome, am 47 and still in love with photography which I started in 1975 working as a studio assistant. Life has brought me in other directions and photo did never become my source of income. This somehow limits me in the amount of money I am willing to pour into my equipment but also gives me the very important freedom of shooting ONLY things I really like. I am quite active in the photography section of Worth1000.com | Photoshop Contests | Are you Worthy™ | home page with some wins in contests there and an unending source of inspiration and friendship and hope that the same will happen here ! I am currently trying to become stronger in the portraiture field and am getting my first models to shoot both indoors and in external settings. Wish I owned a studio for the former but have to resort shooting in my kitchen settuing up and dismantling lights, backdrops and camera equipment each time  I am a Canon owner and quite happy with my current gear even though my wish list has some items on it such as a better ballhead and L bracket and a couple of expensive lenses I dream about since a couple of years (70-200 f/2.8 IS and 17-55 f/2.8 IS). Any other photocamelists here in Rome or Italy ? You all take care, Bob __________________

I recently got the Really Right Stuff L-bracket and ball head with quick release clamp - very, very nice. Once again proving the adage, "you get what you pay for" and you DO pay for their stuff  Ciao, |
