Thanks...me too. It has been a real struggle all year long. The money is coming in right now but, sadly it is going out just as fast. I'm not going to borrow trouble from tomorrow though...tomorrow has enough worries of its own.

Never too late to join the party.
Thanks again.

Acutally I meant unlimited, not unique. Brain malfunction.

OK, if you sell them as limited and numbered then you only can sell so many, you sign it as say 3 / 50 for the third print in a limited run of fifty. Or you just sign it and sell as many as you like, no promises about the limited edition. I don't know if the limited edition would help you get a better price. Me, I'm just happy to make a sale. I just wondered how you were marketing it.

Great news, again congratulations.

Gotcha, now I understand ...I think I was going to do a limited edition of all my works. My question would be would a limited edition be only of that size image or of all works ever printed of that work? And if it is a photograph how and where do you sign or number it? Would a Certificate of Authenticity be what I would want to do adhered to the back of every image or actually sign the print itself and if so what do you use to do that?
Thanks a million. Yes, at this point an sales would be greatly appreciated!

I've seen artists selling limited editions of a large size and have smaller prints and postcards for sale in the same booth, so yes I think the 'limited' would be based on size...but I'll let others with personal experience jump in here.

WAY late to the party but it should still be going on! To be in the mag is a real coup!! Don't let it drop, now's the time to BUILD on it. They won't remember two months from now, must move FAST!

Get a book together, say 20 pages with images and text. Build it in photoshop or your editor of choice and get it printed for probably under $50 as prepress at your lab or (if you must) shutterfly or blurb. Do it of regional only for now, something with personal appeal to the locals or visitors and get it OUT there. YOu could have one back in your hands within a week of submitting it. Get it IN the gallery now while there's still hype and the season is young. What a great GIFT it could be and you could sign it, too!!

Lori, you do know that to sell Fine Art Prints, you have to shoot constantly and go on Specific Photo Tours. We had spoken of just one with the Wolf Thing. But how bout from Moose Peterson, there is another guided tour with Laurie Excell. Laurie is someone who is a special Guest on Elements Village and is able to give advice and helps us with questions about gear and so on. Laurie Gives tours as well, go here to check it out: Laurie Excell Nature Photography
