Default Plug-ins

Is there a way to get JUST the default plug-ins? I have so many now,and I don't use half of them. I know I can delete,but don't want to delete anything Adobe gave me, like Camera Raw.

You can achive this simply uninstall and then again install the software.

Thanks, but I would rather not uninstall. I thought there would be another way.

First, why bother to uninstall (delete) these plugins? They just sit somewhere on your hard disk and take up very little space.

Unfortunately PS plugins are stored in a variety of folders (usually on the C drive) and it's difficult to locate them all for individual deletion.

Dear Carol
It is not very difficult to locate photoshop plugins. Install a windows search engine called Everything-download from Everything Search Engine. It is free and lessthan 1Mb. search for *.8bf plugins. It will list all plugins in your computer. Now can make a separate folder and move all unwanted plugins there.

And why use a 3rd party searcher? Windows has search feature built in, and I'm sure Mac does too (not sure what the OP is using).

That's strange. On my machine I have photoshop plugins, in various folders, with extensions of .8bi, 8BY, 8BX, and 8LI. These are all plugins installed with the PS installation. Possibly your machine is different

Then search for '*.8b?', the '?' will act as a wildcard for that single position only.

I checked up in my computer about plugins with extn other than 8bf. they exist in my computer also. Only these are from new Cs family. Thanks for educating me.I have more than 1000 .8bf plugins

Well, I just searched for '*.8b?' on Win 7 and it gave me a list of 162 results in about 5 seconds. What is the problem with that?
