just downloaded this morning.
as Someone that normally just uses ACR for my conversions, What are the pros and cons of using LR over the normal Adobe Camera Raw. |

Bridge and ACR are designed to view a folder of Adobe Creative Suite files and LR is designed to manage a library of photographs.

The biggest thing to me is the new rendering engine that Adobe is using.
In Develop module, go to the Settings menu and take a look at Process Version. You can switch between the new rendering engine and the original. It's subtle, but you can see the difference. Much better detail. |
