Default Variations in Photoshop CS

If one enters Image>Mode then at then at the very bottom of the drop down Menu is a mode called "Variations" I have never used it but it looks interesting. Was wondering if anyone uses it on a regular basis and if it serves any worthwhile purpose in the processing of your photographs ?

That I have used on occasions and found it to be reasonably useful.

I have used it on occasions also. Sometimes it helps to look at all the variations to help figure out if you do have a "color cast" and how to componsate for it.
