Adobe Photoshop Plug-ins , you want #7

It takes a variey of the following to do by hand:

Clone tool, Spot healing brush, Healing Brush, Dodge, Burn, Layers, Gaussian Blur vary opacity, levels, and more.

Are you aware of Scott Kelby's Phototshop Elements books? I don't think they've released the PSE7 version yet but you can check Amazon.com.

No I wasn't but I will look it up and keep an eye out. I did buy The missing manual 600 pages worth that oughta keep me busy for a while. I just hope I benefit from it. I am sure it goes over the basic techniques but I am not sure how advanced it will get as I make my progress with more practice. But then again from what I am hearing elements in general is pretty basic compared to say cs3. I don't know. I am just begining the PP experience and photography is just a hobby or an obsession how ever you want to put it and it depends on who you ask.

I seem it estimated that Elements is capable of about 80% of what CS3 can do.
