Default Check color profile in jpg created in NX2?

I normally work in AdobeRGB in NX2 and then convert it to sRGB before saving it as a jpg file if it is destined for the webb or for many printing services. As long as I do not close the file in NX2, the program displays the correct color profile at the bottom of the screen. But once the file has been closed, when it is reopened, the program displays it's default color profile. Since some printing services do not like an ICC embedded, I often save it to a jpg file w/o the embedded ICC. Is there any way to verify the color profile of the jpg file? It seems neither NX2 nor ViewNX will identify the color profile w/o an embedded ICC. None of the information readers I have (Opanda, PIE, and PhotoME) find any flag as far as I can determine. All I have been able to find is a flag in the maker section of the data and NX2 does not adjust that. Yet I would hope something would be available to a color-aware display program to tell it how to get the profile correct. In that case, is there any way for me to verify the color profile?

As far as I know there is no way for a program to identify the color profile of an image that has been saved without a profile tag.

As for printing services "not liking" an embedded ICC profile; I doubt that it can cause any problems for the printer. In many cases however it will simply be ignored.

Thank you for responding, blumesan. I am sure you are right. Since I wrote, I discovered my PSElements (version 6)can recognize the fact that it is sRGB although it takes some effort to verify it. If I bring it into Elements and then go to the instruction to modify the color profile (I'm not home and I don't remember the exact command sequence or name) the sRGB is greyed out and the only change it allows me it to remove all profiles or change to aRGB. I had noted in the past that was a way to tell what color profile I was in.
