Default Workflow for changes to be made to multiple images in LR 2.0 and PS CS3

Howdy. I have lightroom 2.0 and Photoshop CS3 and would love to have input from others about the best practice approach to make the same changes to groups of images. For instance, to use the same amount of sharpen for a group of photos. Easier to do in LR or PS? And, what steps are taken for either? Thanks!

In LR2.1 (and back through LR1), you edit what you want in the Develop module for one of the images.

In the filmstrip at the bottom, CTRL-Click the other images that you want to apply the changes to.

Click the Sync button at the bottom of the right pane.

In the dialog that pops up, tell it each and all the individual things to change....

If one has PSCSx and LR, then doing the basic edits in one or the other is kind of crazy (my opinion only). I'd use LR for the basic editing and only go to PSCSx for the complicated things...and that rarely happens if you use LR2.1 or do a lot of wild layering techniques.
