Hi all, I hope someone can help me. We photograph a lot of high school seniors and I made an action in PS CS is batch decrease image size to 25% and then write our logo and then decrease opacity. Last week I used this action over a dozen times...no problem. Today I tried it and all of the letters are pilled on top of one another!!!
![]() ![]() This happened in the past with other actions. I ended up deleting those actions and starting again from scratch. I'd ratherg not do that again. Anyone have any similar experiences and if so how can it be fixed? ![]() Thanks! Lori __________________

Have you used the text tool in PSCS in between the action working and not working? If so, you may have changed the text properties, like paragraph or spacing or similar, and it is now messing with your action because you didn't "record" the text size, style, etc. inside the action itself.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked and tried changing the settings butf, it didn't seem to work.
I ended up recording a new action. I just wish I knew why the first one stopped working. At first I thought it was because I tried to batch it on too many images but, that doesn't seem to make a difference. |

Does your action actually include typing out the letters? If so, consider creating a custom brush out of the path created by the text instead. The Scott Kelby books show this method quite clearly.

Yes, it does. I have Kelby's book, "The Photoshop CS Book." I'll check in there. I've never made my own brush before. I've been wanting to try it.

The coolest thing I learned was the Image processor function in Bridge.
![]() The watermark is good info but I likely won't use it much yet. __________________
