Default lightroom demo

I have downloaded the demo and like it a lot. However, one thing puzzles me. Is it crippled? It does not seem to recognize the white balance settings that are available for my Nikon D40. All it has is the default, auto, and custom. I do not know that much about manually setting it, so it would be very helpful to have the presets. I did a quick search, and it appears that the adobe site lists the d40 for lightroom. I checked for upgrades, but there were none. Any thoughts?

thanks,
Danny

The demo isn't crippled in any way but the dropdowns in WB will only work with raw files, not jpegs.

Tom is right. Your WB options are those if you are editing a JPG image. If you take and open a RAW file, you will get a lot more. I don't think it is different from other programs when they open JPG files. You can adjust the two sliders to vary the WB setting however.

Thanks, guys, you are correctly diagnosed it. I didn't realize that I was looking at an old photo that I shot before I started using camera raw.

thanks,
Danny
