Default Remote Capture Software

I think I saw some information you gave telling how to connecting a camera to a laptop so the laptop monitor could be use instead of the monitor on the camera during a photosession/
Sorry if I am wrong, if I'm correct please help.
thanks,

For Canon DSLR, you'd use EOS Remote Capture, which is included on the CD that comes with the camera. Be sure to install any updates that are available on Canon's website. Then just attach the camera to the laptop via the USB cable supplied, and turn on the camera and start Remote Capture.

There is also third party remote software from Breeze Systems, Inc.

Bibble Pro also has remote capture but I've never tried it. Bibble Labs - Professional Photo Workflow Software
