don't ask how I don't know. I clicked on a raw file in ps7 today and a box opened with my pic and settings for w/b and exposure and after clicking ok it opens fully in ps7 in raw
![]() I thought there wasn't a plug in anywhere for ps7 and I didn't put one in that I know of. Any ideas is it part of capture nx maybe ? __________________

Might have been put there by Capture NX then. Did you just install that?
Might read this new thread for an update to Capture NX... http://www.photocamel.com/forum/niko...-v1-2-out.html |

Did you install any other Nikon software (View, PictureProject....)? It sounds like the RAW conversion tool in one of those packages.

Yeah, I think that's picture project. If you have Capture NX I'd use that instead, as it's a much more powerful RAW conversion tool, not to mention a fully-fledged image editor (though I prefer Photoshop for my edits).

Yep, NX is better for RAW conversion, as it should be, considering it is the camera manufacturer's RAW processing application. It really should come with the cameras though.
