Thanks for setting it up Paul.

To make all your Black and white conversions even more subtle and precise, download the RGB_CMYK mixer for free.

This plugin is a channelmixer with quite some extras like toning, filtering and channel swapping.

So now the users of the PSE have also a channelmixer available.

As usual you can express your grattitude best by converting and posting your images in this thread
Love to see your conversions either in color or B/W.

Thumbs up Re: RGB CMYK Photoshop plugin - free to Photocamel members

Very nice, as usual. No, actually, I think it's the most versatile of all of them so far. The film presets are great, and the options on it are unbelievable.
Here is an original image, and a few others I came up with.
Thanks, so very much for this new plugin.
Janet

Rense, you're going to have to get a Mac so as to make OSX plugins too . I'd love to try these out but currently don't have a Windows PC available.

Rense... Thanks for changing the pictures to show up. My brain must have hit a dull spot last night when I posted, as I tried twice to get them to show up and they didn't. So.... thank you very much!

Hmmm using RGB CMYK plugin in Elements 4 with WIN XP. Only see the Gray and Gray after color options. No Color only mode.

Simenon,
That is strange. Does this happen with every image? Just try a plain jpg.
If possible send me a pm with some detailed info on your operating system + a screendump.

Hi Rence - couldn't figure out the pm thing so I am responding here. Yes, this happens with all .jpg\.jpeg images. I have a WIN XP duo-core system with 2GB RAM and 256 MB video RAM on an ATI card. While I do know how to do a screen dump, I do not know how to get it to you. The Channel mode drop down box shows only the 2 gray options and Normalize channels is checked. At the bottom tha Channel preset is set to RGB and the other two are at None.

~ Simenon

PS Just discovered that if I highlight the Gray option and carefully move the cursor up to the very bottom of the Channel mode window the Color option does appear along with Gray option below it, but then the Gray after color option is not displayed. It is as if the Channel mode window drop down is just a shade too small to accommodate all 3 of the options.

More - I also notice the top of the letter R in the slider boxes is cut off so it looks like the letter H instead of R. All the top sliders in the three sections are this way so you have what appears to be HGB instead of RGB. The PDF tutorial shows the same thing in the section on Toning.

Also to Steve: can you kindly edit your post to removed the image file path in the quote from my post? I tried to drop my screen shot into my post and though that didn't work it did insert a file path which I did not immediately notice. Thanx - Simenon
