Default Newbie question - working with Adobe RAW

I've got an image that I've made a couple of adjustments to in Adobe RAW editor - mostly just changing the white balance. When I view the image in Bridge, or re-open it in the RAW editor everything is fine. But when I open it in Photoshop I'm not seing the changes I made. I KNOW I've done this before with no issues, and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong now. Does anyone have any hints on what I might be doing?

Hmm I'm Not sure for the answer but is it possible that you did save the work?
but hang on someone is bound to come up with an answer.

No, that's the really bizzare thing. I can clearly see my changes in both the Bridge thumbnail and when I re-open in RAW. When I open in CS2,though, it's the original. This is really driving me buggy.

There are at least two options for saving your changes. If you hit the "done" button it will save the changes and close the file. If you hit the "open" button it will save the changes and open the file. When you hit either button, the system will create an xmp file which keeps the changes. If you are in explorer or my pictures in windows, you will see the xmp file. If you delete the xmp the changes will be lost. I tell you all this because I deleted several and lost my changes! Good luck.

Thanks - I'm not sure I'm seeing my answer there, but I'll look again closer when I have more time. If nothing else, maybe a post there will help me.

Right, I undertand all that. I see the .XMP file, and when I view the picture in the thumbnail or back in the RAW editor I see my adjustments. They just don't seem to be carrying over to CS2 when I open it there. It's like CS2 isn't recognizing the XMP file.
