My photoshop does not open my RAW files.
Hi !
Can anybody give me a hand here ?*  My PS CS2 doesn't open my RAW files. It opens an (annoying > ) window saying that "This is not the right kind of document".1- Have I done something wrong previously ?*  2- What do I have to change ?* Thanks. __________________

Do you have the latest version of the Adobe Camera RAW plug-in? It is available from Adobe's site if you're running an older version of ACR.

Hello Max@home !
Thank you for your input. I'm in both !!!!!!!!!!!  I'm writing in the Photocamel in the iMac as always and using PS CS2 in the PC.However, my problem was not seeing the image, because I made it both in RAW and Jpeg. (You know...I have a 30D ). My problem was not processing it at PS CS2.It's solved now.  Thank you all again, Réjan. |

I had the same problem when I bought a 30D. Tried everything, even the plugin. Turned out to be a camera issue, but it took me months to figure it out. Max, I downloaded the Windows XP viewer for Canon raw files, but the 30D wasn't on the list of supported formats. (Unless I somehow downloaded an old version). It'll allow me to view 20D files easily, but not 30D files. |

Yeah...it's still out for repair.
They're also fixing a known noise issue unique to the 30D. Canon doesn't promote camera issues, but if you approach them with a problem, they'll tell you about it, and fix it. |

Damn...
A bad start...I feel for you. I was in XTC (still am ) when I bought mine and think it would be a pain in the a**, to have any problem....Anyways, they will fix it. That's god. But let me ask you this: Is it a problem that happens only to the 30D ? |
