I tried it and removed it. Not bad, just not for me at this time. My converter of choice is Bibble Pro (at this moment) and then use PSCS to do final adjustments and cropping.

For me I kinda like LightRoom (LR). It has a different interface for ACR and appears to be a one stop place for many things. I think that PSCS2 is more than I want in an application - to me it is a designer's tool as well as a photographer's tool. There are tons of things that have a history for the design world that make PS difficult to use. I am hoping that LR will be a quick one stop place to quickly make global changes to optimize image, make a few prints, make contact sheets or post images from a project quickly or easily on the web. I do think in version 2 there will be selective correction features which will complete my wishlist for an image optimization package.

I am on a windows computer and the features are definitely richer on the Mac at this time.

I have been a beta tester for software (not photographic though!) and LR is a public beta which to me is a great thing since they have a forum (go to adobe labs website) that they use for feedback to develop the software for photographers. I am definitely looking forward to the final 1.0 version. A couple of weeks ago I saw beta 4 for Mac and the RawShooters users will like one of the changes - vibrancy has been added to it. The worst part of beta testing is that you may loose the features you like and you may have to reprocess your data when the final version comes out. LR is the best beat I have used, but then it is a public beta which is different.
