Default HDR Composite

Here is a composite of 6 HDR photos all blended together. This is the first time I've tried this and was pretty skeptical about how it would turn out but I'm pretty impressed and I think it looks pretty good. There's still more fine tuning that needs to be done but I wanted to step back from it for a while since I've been working on it for the last two evenings, approx 10 hrs or so.
I want to re-do it to make it more of a Fall day-time scene instead of the dark version it is.

I also included a close up of the castle on the hill and as you can see there is still a bunch of details in the original image even with these low res. jpgs.

Crazy eh. He did an amazing job combining 6 pictures. What a great idea although too time intensive. Good job!!

I like the result so far - looks good and it looks like your time was well spent. Composites can take up a lot of time, but they can be fun to look at!

Thanks for sharing,

Scott

I like it too but the angle of the structures in the foreground to the background don't seem right. Can you make them more vertical or set them at similar angles?

Jon.

Great idea I missed that toally. I had to alter the perpsective a tad but over looked how virtical the structers were.. thnx for the CC's.

I'm currently working on a realistic look for it now so hopefully I can pull this one off a little better. I am noticing that creating a darker image hides the flaws when combining several images so this version could be difficult to blend all the different images together.

I like it too. I agree it looks like a game video picture. Very nicely done, I'll have to try that sometime.

Round #2.
Here it is again and the trees suck.. Leason is to NOT use trees with snow on the branches in a spring time scene.. I gave up..lol.
Somewhere in the conversion to a smaller file it is bending the image to the right, not sure why..

Thank you!
I still struggle with trying to decide where to stop with the tone mapping. I have 5 versions of this sucker and I can't decide what I "want" it to look like..lol

Confession: I have been spending some time on Deviantart.com and I think what some do with the photomanipulation is incredible. This is the first composition I've tried and I didn't try too hard at it but overall it came out better than I thought. Now the creative juices are starting to flow..lol
