Default So I'm listening to a couple records...

and was thinking about HDR subjects since I just bought the regular version today (Photomatix)..... I decided to combine the two. What I've leaned so far is HDR loves shiny things and contrast. I want to get some good outdoor shots but till I can, I have these types of shots. I'm just playing around with the settings. Is there any rules to follow with HDR?

Nubz,

Nice effort. I like the turntable. It really stands out. I would clone out the light wire. ( I assume that is what it is.) Since you can't see the top of it.

What is the turntable made or stainless steel? What is the wood doing there? Maybe get rid of that too.

Nice work.

PS. What is a record? Just joking I am old enough to know. I just haven't listened to one since the 70's

Thanks, I'm not sure I have anything that can clone yet, can Gimp clone? That is a light you are seeing and the wood is a platform to hold the light. The turntable is made of MDF, aluminum, delrin, and some other metal alloy. I'll play around and see if I can ditch the light.
