Default HDR from Inner Harbor, Baltimore, MD

3-shot HDR taken in Baltimore this afternoon. Very over-processed, but I'm still learning adjustments.

Opinions?

I like the overprocessed effect on some items; it kind of works here for the buildings, but doesn't, for me, on the foreground bricks where it's a bit too strong and kind of takes away from the building, which is neat. Also, there is what looks like a transparent person in the middle of the scene...that's kind of wierd.

3 shots will only give you so much. You can see that a few more underexposed shots would have helped with the blown out clouds. The bricks and building look great.

So then here is my question, because I see many people post about 5 and greater shots in their HDR. Are the taking a series at say .3 difference, and then another 3 at 1.0? Or similar? My Nikon D80 only shoots 3 AEB. Would a couple of --2 shots help with the 3 bracketed?
