Default Falkland Arms, Great Tew, Oxfordshire, UK

Still plugging away at this HDR thing and trying to learn as much as possible. LOTS and lots of pictures taken recently and I will eventually start to post some more.

These were taken at the Falkland Arms in Great Tew, Oxfordshire. Each picture taken from 5 exposures and processed in Photomatix and PSCS3.

This is a REALLY interesting place. ALL the houses in this village look like this and it is a great place to go for a lunch at this outstanding pub. I also beleive it is where J. R. R Tolkien placed 'The Shire' on his map of middle earth. The first time I visited this place was when I was a student in 1992. We went on a Sunday night which at the time was music night and we all sang long into the night after many many beers. It was totally surreal.

#5 was taken of a little cottage as you walk around the side of the pub to the beer garden at the back.

All C&C welcome.

Love the interiors and the last exterior. The last one looks like a thomas kinkade painting.
