Default NYC Flat Iron Building and more..

I took these shots from atop a double decker Tour Bus on Wednesday There Hand held and made with 3 exposures. I plan on going back on foot 1 day to try and get some different angles/ perspectives as well

Best,
Jay

Nice capture, I had no idea HDR would work this well from a moving bus (or maybe it was not moving when the shots were taken) regardless they are very NICE.

Thanks Eero The bus was stopped at a light when I took these shots.

Here is another shot where you can see the top of the tour bus I was on

Very nice work Jay. I'm impressed you got multiple shots in line handheld. 99% of the time I'll get at least one or two misaligned . How many frames a second were you shooting at? Or do you just have rock solid camera holding technique ? .

Thanks for the comments Paul and JD

Paul, I was shooting with the 40D at 6.5 frames per second. The shutter speed on the brightest shots was around 1/30sec or so though so I don't think it was shooting quite that fast for all 3 frames. Looking at the shots in bridge they are certainly not aligned perfectly, but Photomatix does a really good job aligning the frames I was also using the Canon 17-55 f/2.8 IS lens which really helps keep things sharp handheld.

Best,
Jay
