Default My Street

More practice with making multiple exposures from 1 RAW. I live at the top of this street. The first one is from the bottom, in the center of "town" which is the small little "village"' of Wailuku, looking up towards the top of the street. The second one is from the middle of the street above town looking up and then a picture of an old building on the street, which you can also see on the left in the second picture. C&C always welcome...Thanks, -Ken

These all seem to have a lot of blue in them.

#1. I’d crop just above that square shaped blue shadow in the lower left hand side of the photo. The shadow distracts from the rest of the photo, and I think the photo would benefit a little if all that pavement wasn’t in the bottom of the photo.

#2. I think I’d crop that blue chevy out of the photo. To me, it distracts from the photo, and accents the blue tint I see in the photo. Also, looks a little out of focus.

#3. Looks like the building is falling over backwards. Could be from needing a horizon adjustment, or it could be wide angle lens distortion, which the telephone pole seems to confirm.

Hope I don’t seem to harsh, but that you see it as constructive criticism. Others may disagree.

Thanks Gary...I do take it as constructive criticism and learn from it; it's very helpful to get others views, especially the problems they see in it....I appreciate the time you took to write our your perceptions and thoughts.
