I just posted the original of this in the landscape forum and thought I would do a 'pseudo HDR' with it. I converted it to 5 exposures at -2, -1, 0, +1, +2. Then went to town on it with the PP. I wonder if the sky is a little overcooked but then thought to myself, it is supposed to be a sunset. Anyway, C&C appreciated as always.

I went back the original file (untouched) and recreated the multiple exposures. Blended and tonemapped it and then did some very light touch ups in Photoshop and this was the result. Much happier with this one but still would love to hear comments!

You got very big overexposed spot in the middle ![]() I don't think you can fix this easily ![]() I will recommend to Clone the dead spot, replace the sky or trash the picture did not sound that good but i thing you just waisting your time try to fix something it will not work ![]() I don't know if you re close to this beautiful place That's my opinion Thanks Emmanuel But if i was you i will try to take the picture again |

Thanks again Emmanuel. I think I will just have to leave it alone until I go there again. Its not too far from my house so for the time being I will just have to let it go!
However, I really appreciate the feedback. I'm still very very new to this so any feedback is good feedback for me and to have it from such a talented person such as yourself just makes it even better! Until next time, I will just have to keep on admiring your work! Cheers, G |

These are really nice. They sky is quite a bit blown out in both around the sun, but that's hard to prevent.

I don't want you to be disappointed !!! We can control how to take the pictures , but we cant control the weather What you will find with photography is : more time we spent at the same subject taking pictures, more chance we have to get a super picture Some time is boring, but soon you will find out hard work it's always pays at the end ![]() Then keep-up the good work my friend And I'm sure you will be there at the right time some day and you going to be very happy ![]() Good luck __________________
