Default Waterfalls

A friend of mine wanted to give HDR a go so he sent me 5 images to try it out on, I Did the HDR processing for him. I might give this a try myself, it was fun playing with the images.
This is my first effort, Do you see any way I can improve the processing? To me it looks almost normal...I think adjusting shadows etc. and playing with the saturation and clarity in LightRoom will give a similar effect.

Photo taken by Scott Delgatty.

Had another go at it.
One thing I notice is that the full resolution 100mb tiff file is sooomuch nicer than these web optimized versions.

All of them look excellent IMO!! #1 looks the most natural none HDR like image, but I much prefer the more HDR look of the rest

I think you may have went a bit to far in the last image. The halo on the top by the tree line and the saturation in particular I noticed.

Over all, great efforts and thanks for sharing

Jay

Good job on these, with regard to lightroom giving a similar effect, I think you could give it a similair processed look if that's what you are after, but I don't think it will be as effective on the DR of the image.
I'm glad your getting addicted

I like all of them, they look really nice. It's not easy to do a good hdr image and imo you have
succeeded.
