Thanks for the info Chieffe!!,
Stormdancing was nice enough to take the time and make a .pdf for me/ us a while back I linked it over in the downloads section a few weeks ago, but I never linked it here, because I didn't want non member to be able to download it. This will bring you to the downloads section if you want the PDF ![]() Downloads Tutorials Best, Jay __________________

Thanks for the tut Jay, quite a workflow but the results are very nice!
Just curious, why do you do your sharpening first? I have always thought that you did any sharpening to a photo last? ps...I cannot find the PDF either. Is there a link somewhere to it? |

Thanks John
There are several methods of sharpening, but I and others have found that multiple sharpening steps will get you better results than just sharpening at the end. Also making adjustments in contrast and things like that are affected by sharpening when it comes to edges and such. Having a nice base coat of sharpening is also very helpful when editing portraits Check out Jfrancho's tutorials that are linked in the beginning of this tutorial for a much better explanation of sharpening!! Thanks again for the kind words ![]() Jay |

For some reason the HDR tutorial PDF was linked off-site, so that may have been the reason for the access issues you've seen. I've modified the link to be on-site, and it should certainly be accessible to all members. Let me know if this is not the case.
