Lauren, nice car and nice comp. I like the reflections and overall tone, however, I think there is too much tonal inversion. By that I mean the highlights have been pulled down in the light / bright areas thereby inducing a lot of black which effectively makes these apeas appear "dirty / grungy". That appearance works well on some parts of the imagae but I find when the prime subject is a bright yellow or white vintage car, it has a negative impact.
The other thing I would consider doing is healing over the two hot spots on the hood. I would probably do that on the source images prior to tone mapping as it will produce a very natural look on the tonemapped image.

As to bringing back some detail in the shadows....Open up your +2 in PSE as a layer and do a bit of masking...or "brushing away"...should work well....
